Dark Magician Creator

Dark Magician Creator is a free online character creator by Rinmaru Games. You build a dark fantasy anime portrait on a black background, with a big preview on the left and all the options packed on the right.

The look is gothic and magical: pale faces, pointed ears, bat motifs, feathered armor, cloaks, glasses, and fancy staves. The UI is dark grey and black, so the color pickers and the character stand out.

How it works

Six diamond icons at the top switch the main tabs:

1. Face / genetics (DNA icon)
2. Hair
3. Clothes
4. Accessories (jewelry, headpieces, weapons on the body)
5. Hands / held items
6. Background

You pick male or female as a base, then mix and match pieces. Almost everything has diamond color swatches underneath, so you can recolor outfits, hair, eyes, accessories, and items in greys, blues, greens, reds, purples, and more.

Face and body

In the genetics tab you can change:

• Skin tone with a long row of potion bottle colors, from normal human skin to green, blue, purple, and other fantasy tones
• Eye shape and expression
• Left and right eye color separately
• Eyebrows
• Mouth styles (neutral, smile, fangs, etc.) and lip color
• Face markings and tattoos (stars, triangles, claw marks, dots) with their own colors
• Ears: human, elf, or feathered
• Nose shape
• Face shape
• Extra skin details like freckles and scars

Hair

Short messy cuts, bangs, and other styles fit the dark magician vibe. Hair color is fully customizable through the diamond palettes.

Clothes

The clothes tab shows many upper body outfits on grey mannequin busts: high collars, hoods, cloaks, sharp bat-wing collars, feathered pieces, spiked armor, skull details, and soft wrapped necks. You pick a base outfit, then recolor it to match your character.

Accessories

Here you add the finishing details:

• Headpieces (bat wing mask over the eyes, headbands, feather clips, tall wizard hats)
• Eyewear (round glasses, monocle)
• Earrings and ear cuffs (teardrops, spikes, bat wings, long feathers), with L and R buttons so you can put each piece on the left ear, right ear, or both

Magical items and poses

The hands tab lets you choose what the character holds or how the hands look. Options include glowing magic staves, scythes, spellbooks, daggers, wands, small creatures, open-hand gestures, and pointing poses. Held items can be recolored too.

Background

The last tab changes the backdrop behind the portrait. A plain black or dark grey look is common and keeps the focus on the character.

Overall feel

You end up with a full dark mage portrait: elf ears, freckles, round glasses, a bat mask, feathered shoulders, a high collar, and a long black staff with a sharp blade tip. Everything is layered and recolorable, so you can go soft and grey, or bright and fantasy-colored. It is a classic Rinmaru dress-up style creator made for dark magic and gothic anime characters.
